FLY RODS
My dad always told me if you know how many rods you have, you have enough. If you dont know how many you have theirs always room for another. Well Im just like my father and have no clue but I do have a few favorites.
G.Loomis NRX+S 11 weight
This is the rod I take to the Keys in May for migrating tarpon. Amazing fly rod that can handle the wind, heavy flies and has a very strong backbone. I've tested it out on sharks also and had no issues handling a 6ft lemon.

Thomas & Thomas Zone 9 weight
This is my go to rod for juvenile tarpon, bull redfish, permit and bonefish. Great rod and casts so smooth.

Temple Fork Outfitters Traveler spinning rod, Medium/Heavy
Ok I always prefer to cast my fly rod but I always have a spinning rod for backup. The traveler has been a great rod and breaks down into 3 pieces for easy traveling. This rod with a ghost Rapala is deadly on the barracuda's.

REELS
Hatch Iconic 11+
Absolutely love this reel, its solid as a rock and has great drag. Can handle those big tarpon if you get lucky enough to hook up.

Nautilus CCF-X2. 6/8, 8/10, 10/12
Great reel and I have all 3 sizes. Use the 8/10 on my zone 9 weight, 6/8 on my 6 weight and the 10/12 is my backup tarpon reel.

Cheeky Spry 450
Newest reel I've added to the collection. Won reel of the year so i figured I'd try it out and cant beat the price. Loading line up and taking to Florida in May to test out, stand by for review.

This is the reel I use on my medium heavy TFO traveler spinning rod. Use as normal spinning reel or flip the switch to fish live bait with free spool.

If you haven't tried out Bajio Sunglasses you need to ASAP. Extremely durable, light weight and the lenses are amazing. Have the bales beach in violet and ruby glass and love them. My old costa's and smith's are getting retired once I get a few more lens colors

Great waterproof backpack that holds plenty of gear for a day of fishing. Easily holds two large fly boxes, all my tippet, small water bottle and rain jacket. Also has a rod holder on the outside for that extra rod.
